A key feature of this kit is the PoE-powered Hive-Node-Mini, which connects with ease to the RS232 adapter via a 3.5mm cable. The Hive-Node-RS232 harnesses the power of serial communication, supporting RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485, with both full duplex and half duplex capabilities.
Ease of installation and configuration is a prime feature of the Hive-Node-RS232, thanks to configurable null modem settings, baud rate, and other serial parameters that can be set via the device's web page or API. The need for a null modem cable is eliminated due to the kit's innovative design. The Hive-Node-RS232 works natively as a control end point for the Hive Touch control panel and Hive KP8 control keypad, enhancing your control system's capabilities.
