** HSM-I-08-08 is discontinued and the HSM-88-4K is recommended as a substitution for HSM-I-08-08. **
The HSM-I-08-08 is a powerful 8x8 HDMI matrix switch with RS232 and IP control (internal web-server and Telnet). The unit supports HDCP, deep color, multi-channel digital audio (up to 7.1 channels), and may be used with any combination of DVI (PC) or HDMI (HDTV) sources and displays.
The Matrix Switcher is constructed in a 1RU enclosure and features audio de-embedding and independent routing via a separate audio cross point (the audio signal from each HDMI input can be routed independent of video routing).
Advanced features include: "Fast-Switch" technology, ability to give user defined names to each input and output, and video overlay of the selected input name on the output video (duration and position of OSD overlay is user definable).
Matrix supports HDMI 1.4a for 3D format and supports deep-color to 12 bits per component (36-bit color routing), supports HDCP, PCM, Dolby, DTS, and HD audio standards. It may be used with any combination of DVI (PC) or HDMI (HDTV) sources and displays.
EDID management, fast switching, low profile (only 1 RU), PRESET Save and Recall functions, and comprehensive front panel controls, make the Genesis Digital matrices ideal for home theater, conference room, multimedia presentation systems, and other similar settings.
IP Control From any PC or Smart Phone
Control and manage your video switch from anywhere in the building using your iPhone or Android phone. The IP (LAN) port includes a Smart built-in web server with software to control the switch from any modern browser. The embedded HSM IP Manager first reads the display area of your browser and then renders the webpage optimized for the device without the need to install an app. Just use a shortcut to the IP address and you will not only be able to make ties or recall presets, but can also assign custom names for each input, output, and preset pattern. It supports multiple simultaneous users from any device including PC, smartphone, or tablet.
Try the HSM IP Manager Simulator
The HSM IP Manager Simulator allows you to try the software and see the features and navigation with some limited functionality. Try the simulator by scanning the QR Code with your smartphone or click here.
Telnet Control
Control all aspects of the Matrix (entire Serial Command Structure) via Telnet connection on the network.
The telnet feature can be turned on or off via the built-in webpage, and furthermore, password login can also be turned on or off.
