The KP-3 keypads feature green and red lights for visual indication of the currently selected input and activated outputs. Both keypads work in parallel, i.e. you can use either one to change the current selections. The indicator lights of both keypads represent the current state of the main unit at all times regardless of which one is being used to make the selections. This feature makes it ideal for a KP-3 to be located at the judge's bench where he/she can ascertain who is watching what with a simple glance. A red CLEAR (kill!) button can be used at any time to disable all outputs.
