From video distribution and switchers/scalers to completely integrated audio, video, and communication systems, we aim to strengthen the human connection – whether that be in medical spaces, corporate meeting spaces, classrooms or more. Our History

1984
In 1984, Ali Haghjoo and a partner started H & R Technology to service the DEC monitors and manufacture transducer signal conditioners for the aerospace industry.
1990
H & R Technology develops the Dual User Interface which was the company’s entrance into the PC peripherals market and was approved by NASDAQ to be used on their trading computers.
1992
Mr. Haghjoo becomes the sole proprietor and introduces video matrix switchers, video distribution amplifiers, and KVM switchers to the company’s portfolio.
1995
H & R Technology is rebranded to Hall Research Technologies (HRT).
1999
R
One of the first AV manufacturers to start sending VGA and audio signals via Cat5 cables
2002
Mini-Cat® - video extenders are introduced and patented.
2009
HRT drops the Technologies and becomes Hall Research.
2010
One of the first companies to create products that extend HDMI over Cat5 cables.
2018
Gun Lake Investments (GLI) assumes majority interest, with Blackford Capital as the operating partner.
2020
Founder Ali Haghjoo announces his retirement and brings Jason Schwartz as CEO.
2021
Now called Hall Technologies, the brand expands its legacy and elevated into new innovations to solidify its stance, offering, and direction in the industry.
2022
GLI assumes full operation control. Hall Relocates its headquarters from California to Dallas, TX.
2023
Ken Eagle is promoted to CEO of Hall Technologies.
2024
Hall Technologies celebrates it's 40 year anniversary.
2025
Hall Technologies announces the successful acquisition of the product portfolio of Atlona™ Inc

Ken Eagle

Chief Executive Officer

Ken Eagle is the CEO for Hall Technologies and was the recipient of the 2012 Dealerscope 40 Under 40 Award as well as the recipient of the 2014 Technology Integrator Young Turks Award. Ken has extensive product and sales experience in the A/V and electronics industries, gained from nearly 25 years of service. Ken studied and earned his degree from Oakland University in Rochester Michigan.

Matt Kingsley

Chief Financial Officer

Matt Kingsley is the Chief Financial Officer for Hall Technologies and joined the Company in January 2022.  Matt is a certified public accountant and has over 25 years of financial leadership experience, which includes 13 years of Pro AV industry experience.  Matt has also held management positions in other industries including manufacturing and telecom.  Matt obtained a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin.
