USB23H-4

The USB23H-4 is a 4 port-USB 3.0 Hub with the unique capability to up-convert USB 1.1/2.0 data to USB 3.0 upstream. The product makes it possible to use extension methods that only support USB 3.0 or higher (such as the Hall Research USB 3.0 Javelin™ Plenum active optical cables (AOC) to support a combination of legacy USB 2.0 and new USB 3.0/3.1 devices.

The hub provides 3 USB 3.0/2.0/1.1 ports, and one USB 2.0/1.1 port. All upstream communications with the Host uses USB 3.0 standard and physical layer allowing the use of active optical cables. A USB 3.0 A-A cable is provided to connect the Hub to the Host (or device end of the AOC cable). The package also includes a universal power supply and a pair of mounting brackets for users that would like to surface mount the device.

The hub is plug-and-play and no software drivers are necessary.
