Description

The Model HR-1P is a programmable RS-232 serial device designed for control & automation of a Projector, LCD, or any other device with serial port. The HR-1P has a discrete input that senses a contact closure or a DC voltage. It detects both “low-to-high” and “high-to-low” transitions of this discrete input and issues corresponding commands out the serial port of the HR-1P to the serial device (projector).
Optically isolated versions are available on request.
The commands can be any ASCII (or non-ASCII) data with programmable delays embedded in the string. The commands can also be complex multi-part. The unit can also be configured to send the strings once per transition of the input or set to constantly output the string until the next transition
Hall Research provides a powerful Windows® based application (available on-line) that is used to create the data files and upload it to the HR-1P, via a supplied cable.

Note: Use of the Windows Software Version 1.3 requires the latest firmware otherwise download errors can occur
